Entry Level Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Work on routine tasks and familiarize with the codebase the company uses
• Use existing tools and/or create new for building, testing, deploying and maintaining code under CI/CD philosophy
• Create and execute test case scenarios and assist in QA processes
• Write user guides and maintaining technical documentation on existing and new software products
• Work closely with the development team and assist in system integrations

Requirements:

• BSc/MSc degree in computer science
• Good knowledge of OOP and software design fundamentals
• Software design skills, good knowledge of UML
• Familiarity with Python and Java programming languages
• Good Knowledge of HTML5 and Javascript
• Good knowledge of Relational Databases (e.g.: Oracle, PostgreSQL)
• Maintain clear and effective communication with the team (verbal and written) in both Greek and English language

Nice to have:

• Git source control and IDEs (IntelliJ, JDeveloper, Eclipse, etc).
• Some level of experience in XML, XSD and XSL transformations
